Peace is not necessarily the absence of conflict which fosters creative
solutions to problems, facilitates personal and social change and identities. A
person who does not immediately assume that conflict is a sign of someone doing
something wrong is less likely to engage in blaming and less likely to be
aggressive and competitive and more likely to look for constructive ways of
dealing with the situation.
